British airways November

We have been looking to get flights from London to Alicante with BA in November or December but nothing is coming up on their website. They seem to stop on 31st October
Before We try the trauma of contacting them we wondered if any had seen anything about them stopping flights for the winter?

If you look on their website they don’t fly London to Alicante in the winter months.

Yes that is what I saw. Just wondered if anyone had seen or heard an official announcement from them.

When BA moved “temporarily “ out of Gatwick they issued a press release and the newspapers published it. They did not just put on their website.
I was asking if anyone had seen a similar news article.
Sorry if my original, post was not clear enough but rest assured I have turned the pedantry filter back on.

We had a BA flight booked for 26th September Heathrow to Alicante and they cancelled it on 27th August. At the same time we booked this flight we also booked a return flight to Gatwick for December, but they cancelled that on 25th September. They just offered a refund or credit voucher as no flights were available around end of September.

My brother and his wife booked to come and visit us with BA. Both flights were cancelled without a reason. They changed to Easyjet and had a lovely holiday with us with no hassle,

And we booked for us, our son, daughter-in-law and grandson to come over Xmas with Wizzair and they have just cancelled all their flights from Luton to Alicante between the end of October and March.
No explanation or reason that they took our booking just a few weeks ago. And whilst they very geneously offered to give us our money back the cost of the alternatives is obviously much more now.
First time I'd used Wizzair - It will be the last!!!

You will have to go via Madrid for BA November flights. They don't fly direct to Alicante.
