I've booked Ryanair flights from Alicante to Stansted 8-12/12 for £50, same for 18-22/01. I generally use Skyscanner

Been looking at flights from Liverpool to Alicante for a week at either beginning of September, end of September or mid November & although the prices for flying out are reasonable, the return flights are really expensive, especially mid-November. Will keep looking in the hope they drop.

One thing I have successfully tried the last couple of times I have flown over from Gatwick, was to book single tickets. I don't know if the website can pick up on your IP address and know you are requiring a return ticket, but I book another single ticket home once I am in Spain and it's worked out a lot cheaper. I have just booked a ticket to come over next week 31/8/16 BA for £51 and I will be flying home on the 5/9/16 will let you know if I catch a cold or not! :D

I have suspected for some time that airlines look at your IP address as you describe and have tried booking Alicante to UK. Then change my IP address before booking return but price stayed the same. Be interesting what you discover.

I also noticed when looking at coming over with Jet2 if you book them as a return journey it is less expensive than booking as one way. we wanted to go out on a saturday and return sunday with a different airline , so we priced around and Jet2 was outwards £33 if bought as a return. If you only wanted one way, the exact same flight was £79. what a con ! has anyone else noticed this before ?
