Posted: Wed May 25, 2016 8:58 amA few weeks off yet, but on June 23rd the youth council of Rojales organises a night time climb of the Cabezo Soler hill on the edge of the town past pueblo lucero.
This hill was obviously a burial ground going back many centuries and the town's most famous legend 'La Encanta' is based there.
If you want to go participants assemble in front of Mercadona - Thursday market ground - and you will need fairly good shoes to walk on rough ground, and a torch.
Once at the top, there will be music and a bonfire to jump over & perhaps a few ghost stories whilst waiting for La Encanta to appear!
