The May fair in Torrevieja may not proceed this year as the permissions are not in place yet
HOWEVER, Algorfa will be holding its equivalent next Friday and Sunday in the Oaraje de la Ermita.
With horses, casetas, etc. it will commence at 9pm on Friday with dance shows and music bands.
On Saturday there will be a romerea through the streets & performances by local musicians & during the day entertainment by horse shows & a flamenco group.
And, of course, food will be available in the casteas etc. which will all be run by local residents & bars.

Hi we are over then and would love to go do you know what time it starts on the Saturday please

The first event on Saturday is the romeria (pilgrimage) starting around 10am.
(probably from the church to the grounds where they will have a short traditional sung 'rociera mass' )

Been trying to find more detailed programme, but can only come up with this poster
