The Ayuntamiento (Town Hall) in Los Montesinos have emailed me their Fiesta dates for 2014. Here's the email:

Los dos días de fiestas locales en Los Montesinos para el año 2014 son el 30 de Julio y el 10 de Octubre.

Atentamente,

Ayuntamiento de Los Montesinos.

From my understanding - It appears that there are two Fiesta days in Los Montesinos in 2014 and they are:

Wednesday July 30th 2014

Friday October 10th 2014

The town hall in Los Montesinos has just told us that the brochure with the programme of events for their Summer fiesta at the end of July 2014 will be available in a few weeks.

We will try to get one and put it on here as soon as we can.

any idea when their Tapas Route is on? I've had a quick look but could find nothing so far.. (and I don't want to miss it this year- enjoyed it last year)

We've been trying to get this information too - There doesn't seem to be any. I even emailed the Los Montesinos town hall to ask, without any luck.

It's usually on the last few days of March, so they are really cutting it fine to publicise it.

If anyone else knows or has seen the poster (photo would be good!) please let us know.

well, if it's the end of March I can't make it- we've got a place in the sun live at Olympia this weekend (let me know if anyone wants free tickets)
I couldn't remember when it was last year- I was hoping it was going to be the end of April- I'll have hopefully moved over by then....

It still could be April as it is very late being advertised, if it is March, so you never know - Will keep you posted if we get details. Hope it is near the end of April as I will be there then.

It was one of the more enjoyable ones I went to last year (can't think why!)

I did the big one in Torrevieja (can't remember the name, had bull fighting that I didn't go to see- think that one was May)- and I have yet to witness me first Moors & Christians....

We found the Moors and Christians Fiesta spectacular in Rojales but it's probably amazing anywhere you go. I have some photos in our photo Gallery of one of these Fiestas at Rojales from a few years ago, if you haven't seen them: gallery/album.php?album_id=3&sk=t&sd=a&st=0
