The programme for this year's arts weekend is coming together.
From Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th there will be music, dance, workshops, demonstrations, stalls, food, drink, etc

Throughout the weekend, the gallery cave, Sala Megolero, will be open with the exhibition 'Latidos' by Laura Delgado Gonzales.

On Friday evening from 10pm, entertainment will be provided by Beatles tribute: The Nowhere Band

On Saturday the artists caves and stalls will be open all day, and I wil be running workshops on Life Drawing in the garden of the art'n'ground residency.

Also on Saturday there will be music at 10pm from Dingolondango swing quartet

On Sunday from 11am I will have my usual art stall in its usual place; there will be classes of Lindy Hop dance at 11am

At midday, there will be live music from Baqueta

And they will be followed at 2pm by Gekko Farm
More events are being added and I'll try to keep you updated, but it looks like a fun action weekend.

They're putting on a free train to the caves on Saturday evening and Sunday morning, leaving from near the 'new' bridge in Rojales.
So for those that have never been able to find them, park your car in the town carpark - Thursday market - and take the train to see everything

And the programme has just been released.
(As usual they haven't mentioned my life drawing workshops as it is fringe associated with my stall.)

More info on some events at the arts weekend at the caves:-
La Ultima Gota will be performing again on the Saturday - they were very popular when they came recently.
The art workshop on Saturday will be recycling, and the workshops on Sunday will be: pottery and leather wrist bands. All free from 11.30am
And of course, a reminder that my life drawing workshops will be on Saturday at 11 am & 5pm - free to come and join in or just watch.

The drummers will also be marching & drumming from Rojales town centre to the caves on Saturday evening, leaving at 7pm.

Carousel, circus, magic & acrobatics!

Artists demonstrating this weekend will include Omar López who will be creating some great sculptures in wood using a chainsaw with finished pieces being raffled.
My demonstrations will be 5 & 10 minute pastel sketches from life model between 11am and 1pm & 45 minute alla prima oil paintings for life model between 5pm & 7pm on the Saturday.
