Easter parades etc. are organised by the ayuntamiento in conjunction with the brotherhoods and the main church in the municipality.
So you’re spoilt for choice with there being so many different municipalities within a ten minute drive.

A couple of bars in Quesada may have their own Easter programmes, Egg Hunts etc.

The relevant prgramme of the town's fiestas - i.e. Rojales (of which Quesada is part.)

Palm procession on Sunday 2nd from Rojales health centre over the bridge to the church. Starts around midday.

Sunday evening 2nd April procession of the black mantillas - generally any woman can also join in if they have a black mantilla and wear black skirt longer than knee length.

Monday 3rd April procession from church starts 9.30pm with one float.

Wednesday 5th April procession from church starts 10pm with a few floats.

Thursday 6th is the silent procession starts 10pm from the church. The whole town is blacked out and the procession is accompanied by drums only whilst a mournful unseen fog horn is blown occasionally. The parade splits in 2 and meets up again in the town centre when Jesus and 2 others are taken up to the crosses and the crucifixion is enacted at midnight. Many towns people then stay there for an all night vigil before returning to Rojales in the morning.

Friday 7th procession starting from church 7pm with all floats participating.

Sunday 9th reenactment of the resurrection in the town centre from 11.30am and exhibition of all the floats in the church square.

Some of the floats are carried & others are wheeled.
The Thursday one is very eerie & moving.
The Friday one is the longest but has all floats of course.
The Sunday reenactment is good starting mournfully & ending with fireworks, tic-a-tape, cheering etc.
