Fiestas in San Pedro del Pinatar - June, July 2015
Posted: Sun May 31, 2015 9:37 amSan Pedro del Pinatar a small town, near the Mar Menor in Murcia, will be holding lots of events in the next couple of months. Although the town is not local to Quesada, we thought that some of us may want to make the trip as it looks like there will be some lovely events.
The main town hall programme shown below shows all of the events and fiestas but the main Parades are on 28th & 29th June and the 5th July (translation below). The whole programme can be seen below in Spanish.
Sunday 28th June
21:00hrs There will be a Fruit Offering Parade in honour of the patron saint San Pedro Apostol. Starting at the Plaza Luis Molina and finishing at the church Iglesia de la Santisima Trinidad.
Monday 29th June
08:00hrs Early morning parade, through the streets of San Pedro del Pintara.
10:30hrs Solemn Mass in the church Iglesia de la Santisima Trinidad.
20:45hrs Solemn Procession with the statue of San Pedro starts at the church Iglesia de la Santisima Trinidad and finished at the Plaza de la Inmaculada.
22:30hrs Concert by the Union Musical Band in the Parque de la Aduana.
Midnight - Firework display in Avda. Del Pilar next to the church.
Sunday 5th July
10:30hrs Meeting of Horse and Carriages beside the Feria de Ganado
20:30hrs Grand Carnival Parade from the Explanada de Lo Pagan to the Town Hall - Ayuntamiento in San Pedro del Pinatar.
