"I am the coordinator for Conjunto Fiesta Quesada, and have to report that my own property was burgled last night between 8 and 9 pm aprox, the property is two story, and the ground floor is alarmed and every corner of the property has dormant security cameras.
The offenders gained access via an unoccupied property to the rear of my own, scaled a seven foot fence, and forced a downstairs window however they did not gain entry from that point, they climbed onto the window grill and forced an upstairs window, gaining access to the upstairs bedrooms, they stole an amount of jewellery small amount of cash, and a mobile phone.
The downstairs alarm was not activated, my wife was at work, and I had left the house for the first time during the evening in a year.
The Guardia and local police attended, and stated they had a report at 8 pm of two suspicious males in the area wearing hoodies, obviously they did not find them, these offenders are not put off by alarm systems, and are prepared to scale the outside of a building to gain entry."
