Are currently doing the rounds in San Luis / La Siesta area .
I realise most members live in Quesada , and surrounding area ... but it's probably only a matter of time before they arrive there .

They are wearing uniforms , carrying "identity" and have clipboards , so they look genuine enough .

Be warned , they are con men !

They managed to get into our apartment block in Catral also and had their foot wedged in one of our elderly neighbours doors until she started dialling the police very adamant and rude take care folks.

Keep gates locked and don't answer them or anyone you don't know or don't know is coming!

If they see you in the garden through the locked gate just shake your head and go indoors- They soon get the message!

You're absolutely right . They are extremely forceful.

Even though my front gate was locked , he still was trying the handle to gain entry .

I told him that i didn't have gas , but that didn't deter him in the slightest.

It was only when i turned and went back into the house , that he finally left .

I have just had a visit from two bogus gas men.
They asked to see the gas boiler. When they looked at it they it's ok. On there way out they spotted the gas BBQ, now they gave their full attention. Then the penny dropped, butane gas bottles. (The gas boiler is mains gas). They were going to charge €150 to change the BBQ regulator and pipe. My wife chased them out of the gate.
I should have known better and not let them in.
