stolen laptop and satnav

Hi
I had my laptop and satnav stolen from boot of my car yesterday. I've been to almoradI guarda civil to report but they say I need someone who can speak spanish.
anybody has any idea what to do as I'm going back to England tomorrow afternoon please.

Thanks for that. I manage to call Guarda Civil national number which is in Madrid to give statement in English. No problems.
