Hi

Whilst out shopping today I have had my purse stolen from out of my bag
We’re were at Habeneros shopping mall. I reported it to the security there
and they have advised me to go to my local police to report that my drivers
licence which was in my purse has also been stolen.
I live in Dona Pepa and I’m not sure where the local police station is and if
I need to take someone who can speak Spanish along with me !
Can anyone advise me please

They should have called the police for you. My friend had her bag stolen from mercadona and they did the same thing. The police where quite cross about the fact they had told her to report it herself. She spoke Spanish but you do need and interpreter with you and you need to report it to the Guardia civil as the local police only deal with local issues not the haberneras. You could always go back to the police station across the road from the haberneras they will help you.
