Help with Almoradi Guardia Civil Email address....

I made a denuncia at the Almoradi Guardia Civil yesterday ( our outdoor shed had been broken into ) and they asked me to email photos I had of some of the things taken. They highlighted the email address to be used ( it was in the statement copy they gave me) . It reads

"Se facilita al denunciante la dirección de correo electrónico [email protected] al objeto por esto medio..." Now I have tried a range of variants of [email protected] and all are returned as mail undeliverable. Am wondering if I am reading the address wrong , that there is a different style of inscription in Spanish? Can anyone advise?

Thanks

PS I have added a picture with the relevant extract containing the address....

I had a similar problem with an e-mail address which had a dash in it. I did not think it looked right and it was rejected.
Have you tried underscores instead of the dashes ?

Hi. Had to send an e mail to Elche for residencia and the address was just elche@. Suggest you drop the other bits and just type almoradi@... Just a suggestion.

Arrgh! Am close to giving up. Tried the suggestions above (Thankyou both ! ) which seemed eminently sensible and poring over the Guardia Civil website a lot of email addresses just seem to be [email protected] with some having hyphens. Have tried hyphenating some , all, underscoring some, all, tried just almoradi@ , even dug out my physical spanish keyboard and used it just in case there were some peculiarities in how a symbol comes out .... but all to no avail. Would anyone in the Rojales Neighbourhood Watch know ? The Guardia Civil website only gives the postal address and telephone of the Almoradi station , not any email . And while I can write some Spanish and manage the basics, a complicated telephone call trying to explain the email address no functiona and why I want it etc etc is a bit beyond me.

It is a bit late in the day for you now but you could try sending an e-mail to Derek Monks at the Quesada town hall as there used to be an office in there for Guardia Civil who might be able to give Derek the correct e-mail address.
Derek's e-mail is [email protected].

Thanks JohnES, will give it a whirl. Would just like to tie up the loose ends here, not that I am expecting anything recovered. ( Mind you if anyone sees a red Skywatcher Discovery or a blue Skywatcher Star Travel ( telescopes) for sale from a dodgy source they could be ours....).

Ohh! The one combination I hadn't tried...minus the last hyphen. Problem solved, email sent and has not bounced back. Thankyou SO much ros4111 for going to that trouble for me. Very very kind. :text-thankyouyellow: and thanks to everyone else for good suggestions. Nice people on this forum.
