Been living in the area for 5 months and haven't seen a single antique shop or heard of any antique markets or car boots. Does anyone know of any?

There is a good antique market in javon ( i think thats the name) north of benidorm
There is a new car boot sale on a few k's west of la zenia just off the 332

You're probably thinking of Jalon (or Xalo in Valencian) jillandsteve.
It's on a Saturday morning and very popular, but about 90 minutes drive.

Yea, jalon, great market for genuine antiques rather than just old furniture plus there are a couple of off market antique shops too
