I remember a few years back, sitting having a coffee in Campoamar Golf Hotel and looking at the sky I said to my missus, it´s going to snow. She thought I was joking but 10 minutes later we drove back to Quesada via San Miguel and Montesinos in blizzard conditions. People were out with videos in those two towns. It snowed heavily for about an hour.
So, it can happen.

Quite a drop in temperature today. 21C yesterday down to 15C today. However, the sun is shining brightly and it seems a lot warmer than that.
Still playing "spot the Brit" and we gain a point for sandals, shorts and fleece top, 2 points if they have socks with the sandals, 3 points for flip flops, shorts and fleece tops. Decided the one we saw with crocs, shorts and parka jacket should also gain 3 points but were confused on the fleece bootees with shorts, T shirt, scarf and woolly hat as it turned out they were speaking some Eastern European type language.

We had a very sharp frost in DP in 2005 ... coldest Winter in 50 years they said, and it killed some of my newly planted shrubs. There was ice on the paddling pool until 11 am one day.

As with most long range weather forecasts, it was always going to be hit and miss. The minimum temperature for next Thursday now is 7 degrees centigrade, although Tuesday's forecast (maximum 12, minimum 3 centigrade) may result in a (t)ouch of frost.
