It's all over Facebook that snow is forecast for Torrevieja for Thursday.

On my Facebook its says that we can expect rain with around an 80% chance for Thursday until Saturday. The early forecast is that it could be quite heavy in places. This could well fall as snow for areas with an altitude of over 800m. No mention of Torrevieja, just inland. El Tiempo are forecasting rain.

This is from the app I used to upload the original post when i posted it last week. From my experience using this app, it's accurate 70-80% of the time, even more so closer to the date. As with all forecasts, it is exactly that - a prediction. Just because the symbol says rain for late next week doesn't mean it'll rain all day next week (hope I haven't done the old 'commentators curse' on it now
)

Rain likely this week at times from Wednesday through until Sunday, heavy and persistent at times but definately NO SNOW for Quesada or Torry. Mike, ex weather.
