Not much help I know...but this time last week the likes of El Tiempo and Accuweather were showing 16/17 degrees...and they turned out to be between 5 and 9 degrees out!!!!

Easy money for meteorologists!!!

I always think...who cares what the weather is like? We can't change it!!!

Thank you . We haven’t been out in January for a couple of years and with Ryanair’s new baggage allowance , unsure what to bring , so whilst the weather can’t be changed , the contents of my wardrobe can !!!!

Wear lots of layers (thin and thick) with a warm coat/jacket for travelling in, to save on the packing. Use pockets for gloves, hat and scarf - I've done this a few times and built up a few warmer items to leave there. Even early April can be a bit cold at certain times and it's handy to have a few warmer clothes items on standby in the property lol I find fleece zip ups are very lightweight (handy for packing) but lovely and warm.

Also the charity shops are good for a few extra bits if you need them, so no real need to pack that much.

And while it got down to a rather chilly 14C last week, it was 23C yesterday and, would you believe, 26C today.
Of course, it isn't always like this. I remember a couple coming over at the same time last year for a week and it was miserable and raining the entire time.
However, I'm making the most of it at the moment with temperatures forecast in the 20s for most of the coming week.

The webpage I linked to is actually the weather station in Rojales - we are lucky enough to have one.
Each town has it's own micro-climate and AEMET automatically provide computerised forecasts for each based on the trends & update it regularly.
(We have often had sun in Rojales and seen rain in La Marina for example.)
Of course, there is a lot more to it than just air temperature.
In the wind it'll feel cold and in the sun it'll feel hot1
I'm lucky enough to have a south facing terrace protected from the wind, so have often commented how warm it is whilst others moan about the cold.
The Spanish have a saying something like: 'the weather depends on which side of the street you live.'
I used to have a model who lived in San Luis who loved coming to work for me as her house faced north and always in the shade this time of year, whereas her neighbour over the road from her would be sunbathing in her garden.
