Feeling Hot?

Well, very hot and humid today. Be aware there is a weather alert out for tomorrow in this area with forecast temperatures for us at 37C (which is pushing the 100F mark) and very humid with lots of cloud cover and staying at 29C during the night (aircon a must, I should think).

Today was 35C but the gauge on my balcony showed it as well over and the car temp reading was 38C.

All I did late this afternoon was drill two holes in the wall for putting a light fitting on and the sweat was pouring off me.

Stay cool and drink gallons of water.

When I went to get some washing in around 1130 I thought it was pleasant, nice warm breeze and fairly dry atmosphere but then when we went out at 2pm it had all changed. Can't wait for tomorrow - Not!! Bring on autumn, winter and spring

What a ridiculous statement to make, do you not realise the dangers involved with such extremes of temperatures.
Forest fires, people, pets & livestock die, road surfaces can melt causing horrific accents to name just a few, there are many more!!!!!!

Marcliff isn't "moaning", he's offering sensible advice.

Very pleasant here in Poole. Last couple of weeks it has been mainly sunny with temperatures around 22-24C with a gentle breeze.

Admittedly the last 2 or 3 days have been wet here in Bridgend, South Wales but still pleasantly warm at about 21degC, but we have had a lovely, mostly warm summer so far.

I just could not cope with the high temperatures in Spain in the summer months at all, so I don't envy you guys out there. Hence I spend time there between October and the end of May. Hopefully I don't sound too smug by saying I think I have the best of both worlds.

Think before calling people moaners when they are offering good advice.
