Wall to wall HEAT!

Needed air con on last night.

We have a dual digital temperature device that tells us the temp inside the room as well as outside and I can agree that that as we were going to the pool yesterday at midday the outside temp (in the shade) was 38.4°C. I was then reliably informed that the pool temperature was a mere 27°C lol!!
My washing was dry within half an hour too though I'd have been mad to iron it then lol!!
The May temperature records have been well and truly broken according to Spanish weathermen but thankfully there is a stiff breeze blowing here today and the temperatures are a more reasonable 25.7°C (although it is still relatively early at 10.22am). I think it also makes a difference where you are exactly as a neighbour who lives behind me only showed 34C - she is in the middle of a terrace and I am tucked into a lovely corner at the end of a row and shaded from most wind and rain (whatever that is) lol, a bit of a suntrap
One thing I noticed for the first time since we've been here though was how many HUGE cockroaches were about last night!! Thankfully not in our house but out on the pathway!! Just hope they don't come a-visiting
