Mickey Braw wrote:January is usually a lovely month with good daytime, in the sun, temperatures and plenty of sunshine. Of course it's chilly overnight. The worst months are February and most of March, which can be damp and miserable but we still get bright days in that time and still many many more usable days than you get in the UK.

Damp and miserable you poor thing! last time I was in the uk at that time of year it was more than that bl==dy freezing and damp and miserable and very expensive.

Bit cloudy some days. Temp in the low 20s during the day which is nice. Feels cold indoors at night so a fire or some type of heating needed for an hour or so when the sun goes down. Lovely sitting outside cafes in the daytime but inside in the evenings.
Little bit of rain today, not much. Should be nice next week and no rain actually forecast for a while (if you can believe weather forecasts). Still a lot of Brits in shorts and sandals but I've been in long trousers for a few weeks now.
If going out at night bring a light (ish) coat.

Hi you are comming at a good time im my opinion as it's the worst time of year (which is a good time to find out what the areas are like when quiet) but still can be great compared to the UK :D teprature normaly is no less than 16 degrees in the day but can get cold at night if the sun is shining and you are in a shelterd spot it is like british somertime! bring a warm coat for the evening and enjoy :D :D

Hi
If you keep this link below on your bookmarks you can track the weather until you arrive. El Tiempo is a good forecast and Rojales is the main town of which Quesada is a suburb. We've found the daytime temperatures, if it's sunny, can generally be quite a bit higher than shown on the forecast, in a sheltered sunny spot.

Have a good trip.

After saying how nice it is, for the first time I actually felt cold when I got up this morning. Temp (lunchtime) struggling at 16C so it definitely has dropped a fair bit.
Must re-learn how to set the timer on the heating so it's warm in the mornings.
