Cheap Rail tickets

Renfe has brought out a new campaign, just for the months of January and February, whereby the train company has a total of 1.3 million seats on its AVE fast train up for grabs.
The campaign is called ‘De Rebajas en Tren’ and ties in with the period of sales that are now taking place in shops all over the country, many of which will last until the end of next month.
For those interested in taking a short break in Spain over the next two months and who prefer to travel long distances by rail instead of air, Renfe has fantastic discounts on tickets for all its long-distance AVE routes.
The rail company has applied reductions of 50%, 60% and 70% off the original price of certain journeys.
Passengers will be able to purchase tickets from Madrid to Barcelona for 32 euro, Madrid to Seville from 23 euro and Madrid to Valencia from 22 euro.
Other destinations include Zaragoza, Seville, Bilbao, Gijón, Malaga, León, Oviedo and Córdoba.
If I decide to visit Barcelona again in the next six weeks, which isn’t entirely impossible, a one-way ticket would cost as little as 28,80 euro from Alicante and as much as 36,40 euro.
For more information, please visit: www.renfe.com (you can’t view the offer if you change the language to English).
