This should help:

Ps Bus doesn't go to or from Quesada unfortunately. Nearest stop is Torrevieja.

But Torry is no problem. Every 2 hours from alicante cost just below 7 euros ten round the corner for taxi rank 20 euro to Quesada. MIKE

There is a one number Taxi service for Rojales and they will pick up from the airport. Here's the details:
taxi-companies-in-quesada-and-the-surrounding-areas-f173/registered-taxi-in-rojales-t6053.html

There is also an airport bus (see details below) but the bus will only go as far as Torrevieja and then there are other buses to Rojales but they are not that frequent and do stop running in the evening around about 7pm.

We find that a taxi is best when tired after a flight, especially if later in the day. It should be around 45 to 50 euros to Rojales by taxi.

Hope this helps.

There is, i have found, a long term parking facility nr the airport that drops you off at the airport and collects you on return. Meanwhile they wash your car too, all for €26, so i wont bother with multiple buses at odd times or taxi drivers etc. I'll take the car.
I reckon these coach type guys around queseda should run an airport bus business as well as day trips to benidorm elche, cartegne etc, ie something useful ?

Yes the airport parking sounds good.

We have been pushing the coach & bus services to have a drop off in Quesada for the airport for years and still can't quite understand why they won't (it could be the power that Taxi's have in the area???..... but I couldn't possibly comment! :shifty: :shhh:)

The bus has been 'allowed' to go from Torrevieja and to the airport and back for a number of years but when we contacted that bus company (and the bus goes straight past Quesada arches and the Consum roundabout on every trip), they said their contract will not allow it to stop in Quesada.

Torrevieja has numerous buses going all around the area, but Quesada is almost desert as far as buses are concerned (you can get buses but they take a lot of planning and know how!) - It has only got better in the last few years for taxi's, even they were hard to come by a few years back!
