We are travelling over for 2 weeks on Saturday and are not hiring a car (the only driver refuses ) Is there a bus we can get to and from the beach please. We have 2 young boys with us that love the beach. Any help much appreciated

There's a section on the left and down a bit for buses to and from this area.
However, this is the timetable

Orihuela to Guardamar and Back

The bus doesn´t actually go to the beach.. it goes to Guardamar bus station.. it is about a 10/15 minute walk down to the beach from there..

There is also a taxi rank just beside Guardamar bus station so you could possibly get bus to guardamar and taxi down to beach....

Bars and restaurants at the Beach will call you a Taxi back if you need one. Just ask.

Good idea although we are going to try and avoid taxis as there are 5 of us so it would be 2 taxis and work out a bit too expensive.

Two taxis from Guardamar to Quesada... about 13 euros each (depending where you are going) that equals 26 euros divided by 5 = about 5 euros each..

Bus fare about 1.30 euros... so difference of 3.70... for door to door..

Maybe worth thinking about....?

Not too bad although its only 3 adults and 2 children 5 and 2 but thanks for info
