long stay car parking at Alicante railway station

Hi!
We are planning to travel by rail from Alicante to Barcelona and return 12 days later. Please has anyone any useful information re car parking at the station?

Hi why not travel from elche??? The Barcelona train stops at elche then up to alicante. We did a cruise in jan. So got a taxi to elche train station then jumped on the train straight up to barcelona. Much easier and no parking problems and no money to park.

Elche sounds a great idea we parked at Alicante railway station in February for 3 days on our way to Barcelona and although I cannot remember the exact cost it was very expensive. We were wrongly advised by an agent that if we went first class then parking was free-it certainly wasn't.

When we have cruised from Barcelona and travel there by train. We use VIP valet parking. They collect the car from you at the station and bring it back on your return. Not expensive.

I agree with Juanita, we used VIP parking at Alicante train station for a trip up to Valencia. Definitely would use them again.
