Can anyone give me some advice on how I can collect my house deeds from ALDEA ASORRES .
I understand the company has gone into liquidation and I cannot find any reference as to where they can be contacted.

Is it not like the UK where the deeds are now stored electronically,
and you dont actually need the paper copies ?

If you are in any doubt try talking to a Gestor.. they should be able to help.

A copy should be kept at the notary where it was signed. The notary will have used it to register it with the land registry.
You can request a copy from the original notary and will be stamped "Copia Autorizada" and will be signed and sealed by the notary.
If you took out a mortgage, the bank should also have a copy and this should be given to you once the mortgage has been cleared.
A solicitor would be able to obtain a copy if your Spanish is not quite up to it.
