Our Solicitor has told us that the title deeds go to the land registry office in rojales to be registered and this is where the back log is. The solicitors regularly call to this office to collect the deeds that have been successfully registered but so far ours have not come back.
If you wish to sell your property you must have the original stamped title deed from the land registry. The copy you receive from the notary is not recognised in any legal transaction.

Bought in Dec had deeds a few weeks later......................

Thank you for your reply, it just confirms my suspicions that there is definitely something not right with my situation.
