Looking for a reputable, reliable and reasonably priced surveyor to do a survey on a property in Quesada before purchase. Any recommendations please?

I recall a previous thread in August about this.I remember someone using Don Aluminio for 250€.

Yes Don Aluminio Builders do property surveys, they work with an established well known architect also if you need an in depth survey but the basic survey they carry out should be good enough for most circumstances they include pictures of any problems and also recommendations.

Don Aluminio did our pre-purchase survey a couple of years ago. It was very thorough and detailed, including photos of potential problems. Cost €250 as Walnut says. Contact [email protected]

Just going through a property purchase and several people I spoke to said that getting a survey was very uncommon in Spain. Is this true? As someone who has only bought UK property before it comes as a surprise.

It may be uncommon in Spain but why not get one as we always do in the UK?

I heard Don Aluminio do surveys..they advertise on this forum.

We also heard it was very uncommon in Spain but decided to have one done anyway just for our own peace of mind. We used Don Aluminio and it cost €250 almost 2 years ago, see my post a few above this one.

I am inclined to do so for peace of mind, especially at that sort of cost. That said, I am not sure there would ever be much fall back on the survey in any event.
