Having finally got the password to register guests from the Guardia Civil ( 6 trips needed) I am now struggling to fill in the registration document as it keeps telling me La fecha de expedicion del documento no puede se posterior al dia de hoy when I try to put in the Fecha de entrada which is for guests arriving today 10th February so not sure what I am doing wrong.It also asks for first name then second names so not sure if they mean the surname is the first name wanted then christian mane and middle name? Hoping someone has filled in this form and can help?

First bit says the date can't be later than today? Seems odd if you can't do it in advance.
However, the names (first and second) means the surname as the Spanish have 2 surnames.
So first "apellido" is our surname. Then "nombre" is what we call the Christian name and you would have to leave 2nd apellido blank.

It is the first bit I don't understand as the guests arrive today so I would think that is the date I have to submit. It is very strange!
