I have a garage below my house and its walls show there is a lot of moisture in them in that the paint flakes off on all walls about 3 foot from the ground.

I am looking for recommendations for a specialist to evaluate what options are available such as tanking etc.

that's rising damp, that's why in old Spanish properties you,ll see tiled walls a meter high outside and in side ,in new properties you,d think they would fit a damp proof membrane to cure that, but Spanish don't build for wet weather or such like,

The Spanish don’t really build houses, they pour houses into moulds and roughly fill in the unwanted holes then, they daub over the evidence.

I am having my underbuild done at the moment. The contractors have removed all the plaster internally and are adding another layer of bricks with a gap between the two layers. They are doing a great job. Try contacting Rita on 605 322 612 or by e-mail on [email protected]

The company is Costa Blance Design
