HOLIDAY RENTAL LICENCE

Hello everyone,
Does anyone know if looking for a property be it an appartment / villa to purchase for a Holiday Rental income.
Would it be easier and simpler to purchase an already licensed for holiday rental property, so all I need to do is change the name, on the ayuntamiento permit, after obtaining the property?
I would be interested in experienced peoples views on this matter.

As i understand the licende is not transferable and you need to register with the Guardia civil and check guests passport then there is the tax return every quarter, I think im right but some of our members will put me right if not.

Don't hold your breath we applied 3 years ago and we got word last month that our permitt would be granted within a month but needed more info, told them to forget it as you are not allowed to rent while waiting on licence, so haven't rented our house out and down €170

We went through merry maids they got us our license get in touch with them. We got ours through in less than a year and we applied last August.

That seems a silly attitude. It would have made more sense to have supplied the information and got the licence
The office that process the Rental licence have been affected by the Covid as well as all other departments and it is not their fault you did not supply the information needed
