We plan to raise the wall shared with our neighbours.

Do we need a licence?

If so, does it need to be registered to both addresses?

Thanks

Better to go to town hall for correct advice

This cropped up on our community recently. Firstly, you'll need agreement with your neighbour as only half the width of existing wall is yours. Secondly check your Standing Orders if a community. Ours say wall can be a max of 1.8m without permission from Council AND community AGM.
As jpeg said check with town hall.

I live in Benijofar, and recently did this.

You need a licence + written agreement from neighbour. If neighbour does not agree it means a visit from the town hall architect.
