Evening,

I understand several estate agents list the same property. How do know who is authorised to deal on the seller's behalf, or are they all authorised to do so?

I have a couple of viewings booked but wanting to make sure I'm dealing with the correct agent, if that makes sense.

Thanks

Martin

You are able to view any property with an agent who collaborates with the listing agent. If you make an offer then the agent who takes you will have to give that to the authorised agent to negotiate with the vendor.

You may find that the vendor has authorised more than one agent to sell their property.

Also, if you have made contact with any agent, via any format, they will have registered your details and collaboration may not be possible.
