Hi, I have recently had a pool put in and a pool heater. We are finding that when the pool heater is on it trips the electrics out. After speaking to an electrician he said it's because the pool heater pulls about 4 and my system can only take about 5.5 He has said that he can sort it out and get the electricity company to increase the supply and do what he needs to do to upgrade the electrics. My question is has any one else had similar problem and how did you sort it out and what cost? Any advice or recommendations for an electrician would be helpful as want to keep costs to a sensible level - thanks

You need a qualified electrician, to check your electrics then he informs Iberdrola to update supply cost will depend on your electrics and electricians price

Most likely ur Electrician is right. I had a similar issue with my electricity when I moved to this place but with my electric appliances. When I had TV & few other things on, couldn't switch on iron or microwave without tripping the fuse.
Our maintenance guy said our house has 5.5kw limit & for one off fee the Electric company increased it to 6.9kw & never had an issue since.
