Hi

I've been transferring Euros over from a Smart Currency account to my Caixa Bank account. All my transfer amounts under €10000 are showing on the bank account, but the remaining ones - all over €10000, and sent the same day - aren't showing.

Is there a known delay on transfers over €10000? Extra "security" checks, maybe?!

If it were me I would be on the phone to Smart Currency not on here

I transferred 100,000 euro's to my account at Caixa Bank and was charged 200 euro's from the bank for it, not sure why.

All transfers have now gone through - Caixa Bank do several transfer runs throughout the day!

Two years ago we made transfers for England to pay for our villa and banked with Caixa - we were charged for each cash transfer which was deposited into our Spanish bank account with Caixa - the total electronic charges cost us was 600 euros (I know Spanish banks make charges)!!! unbelievable . Hence we closed our account asap.

Caixa charge 0.2% transfer fee for domestic/EU transfers over €25000, so that would explain your 200 Euros charge...
