Posted: Tue Jan 24, 2017 9:49 pmYou may very well be right. It's over 8 years since we paid non-resident tax but it did seem quite high for each of us considering it was an apartment of 70 sqm. However, when I say high, I mean relatively speaking. The council tax and imputed income tax for the year came to about 1 months worth of council tax in UK at the time.
Mind you, that link is a bit out of date as the the tax for EU citizens is 19%.
