Interesting ! I currently have my uk pension paid into my uk bank .
Basically , i did this to keep my account back there active , for the very reasons Tony Hobbs pointed out .
But reading this information .. it may be worth me reconsidering . Thanks :text-thankyouyellow:

As long as you keep something in an account in UK you can keep it open. For example, if you have a savings account you can open a current account later. I also think Nationwide now allows expats to open a UK account without a UK address but you have to apply in person with photo ID (passport) and proof of address in the EEA.

OP is assuming that the rate will get better.

It could go either way. Brexit, The Donald, more problems with the Euro to name but a few, and then there are things that we are not aware about at the moment.

You are Donald Rumsfeld and I claim my five euros

Reports that say that something hasn't happened are always interesting to me, because as we know, there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns – the ones we don't know we don't know. And if one looks throughout the history of our country and other free countries, it is the latter category that tend to be the difficult ones

The only certainty is that, no matter what happens, we are all going to be screwed over.
