We are looking to buy property, most likely in Los Balcones. Can this forum advise a reliable lawyer or solicitor to help complete the sale. He or she must speak english.

Hi we used JUAN ÁNGEL ÁLVAREZ-GÓMEZ GONZÁLEZ based in Torrevieja, speaks excellent English and did absolutely everthing for me. Picking me up, transporting me to various places, ie bank, notary, back to bank, police for NIE, and arranged for all the direct debits for water, electricity, suma etc.

Noelia Garcia at Fontanals next to Consum was brilliant when we purchased. The whole team there speak perfect English ans are extremely helpful

He speaks good English and will charge you a fixed fee.

You should avoid solicitors who want to charge you 10% of the purchase price.
This does include the tax, the notary fee, the solicitor's fee and a few other costs.
However the tax is the only percentage cost which used to be 7%
You could pay 1000's of euros extra depending on the cost of your house if you use one of these 10% solicitors.
