I’m possibly about to make an offer on a property in Lo Crispin. I have a UK Barclays Euro account. I’ve tried to follow all the threads on banking here, but the more I read the less clear I am on what’s possible and what isn’t.
I’ll be a non resident holiday home owner just needing to set up DD’s to pay IBI, water and electric, and that’s it. Do those Spanish utilities etc accept those DD’s from a non Spanish based bank account now?

I’m new to this so any clear unambiguous help or advice would be much appreciated.

Thank you

Tim

banks charges are cheap or non existent in the uk, that's what makes them look expensive in spain, although there are some accounts that are free with Sabadell, make inquiries.
