Yes we’ve been here for more than 15 years and still retain our English Lloyds account. Just don’t close it , but tell them you are moving to Spain. They will be fine with it, so long as you dont try to open a new bank account,as they won’t do that unless you have an English address! Good luck with the move!

I have been here 18 years and enquired at my BS, Nationwide before I left. Straight forward as long as it was current before you left. Internet banking allows you to use all services. I find it beneficial to have my pension paid there and do a lump sum transfer when I see the exchange rate more advantageous. I have used World 1st for many years but have tested and tried TransferWise. Even though World 1st used to guarantee the best rate, they cannot any more. I believe they have been taken over by an oriental company?
