Talk Quesada forum

Some of you may be aware but for those who are not, Bankia hours for doing transactions are now restricted to 0815 to 1100. Not just the one in Quesada but our branch (the other side of Torrevieja) also so I assume this is a new policy at all branches.

Anything outside those times is for appointments, mortgages and so on. Anything that was done by the counter clerk is now restricted to those times.

We had a phone call to say we had to go to our branch (the one in Quesada was not acceptable) to update(?) our account. Went yesterday (and driving through Torrevieja and find somewhere to park is not the best of fun) and got there at 1130. Nope, come back tomorrow between 0815 and 1100.
Place was packed and we got there at 9:30 (just one guy behind the desk) and almost 1100 when we got seen simply for my wife to sign one document to say she is still alive......

I must admit, although I love Spain, certain things are like stepping back 50 years in time.

I agree marcliff. Never enough staff and crazy hours, and why you have to deal with the actual branch where the account is held is beyond me. I had to keep going over to Pilar de la Horadada when my husband died because his account was there.
