With all that's going on at the moment it may have slipped peoples' notice but the pound has tanked to €1.10 over the weekend.
Crashing down against the US Dollar as well to $1.23.

Unfortunately, following Brexit, Sterling is no longer considered a "safe haven" currency and the continued increase in national debt isn't going to reverse its fortunes any time soon.
