Not quite true jpeg, we have no other products but do have 1 UK state pension paid in directly every 4 weeks and we get free banking with Sabadell; as long as the minimum amount debited is 700 euros per month, which is why we do a top up each month.

Needed to transfer 200 euro from Sabadell to UK account they wanted to charge 33.35.Never had to pay any charges as state pension always exceeds the 700euro month limit. Eventually paid from my NatWest ac so no charge.

Sabadell also charged me €33.35 yesterday to transfer to Uk bank.
Not sure if this is because we are no longer in the Eu.

Andy Wyatt,
I’m into same situation as others regarding Sabadell bank charges for moving money to and from my account to UK.
Can you advise what charges if any, are made by Transferwise to get my transfers done without Sabadell costs.
Apparently if you can avoid the GB Prefix appearing on the IBAN No. receipt at Sabadell, they won’t charge any fees. i.e. Must be an EU country prefix.
Any help/advice appreciated.

I haven't used TransferWise yet but they assured me that they use an EU IBAN number. My current transfer company tell me that Sabadell are contravening European law as the UK is still part of the single European payment system SEPA. I expect Sabadell to refute this!!

if you log on to transferwise and enter the amt you want to transfer it will give you the rate and their commission charges.
