Hi all

with the merger of Bankia into Caixa Bank we have now to download the new Caixa Bank app. So done this and its asking for Identification (apparently Password stays the same), I've tried everything I can think of NIE/Passport has anyone in a similar situation/got the answer to get logged on?

Thank you

I still use the Bankia one. Message says that "in a few weeks you will be transferred to Caixa.es" and that your ID and password will be transferred across.

Using the Caixabank.es one it doesn't allow me to log in.

Me too I don’t have a DIN number and have always logged in with my passport number hopefully it will transfer over ok, I have had a look at the demo but it’s all in Spanish so again hopefully that will come across in English!

Same here. Yet another cockup when the bank gets taken over. Been waiting since Sept 2nd for an appointment! And you have to pay for the "privilege" of having a debit card!

Im with Caxia and have never failed to get an appt within 48 hours, frequentl it's been the next day.

Don't know how seamlessly the transfer from Bankia mjght or might not go but once into the Caxia web site or app it can be switched to english.

For themselves initial (or replacement) Caxia passwords are issued in branch, I would imagine non working 'transferred' Bankia passwords would be dealt with similarly.

Hi
We were at Bankia yesterday and were told that the Caixa system may not work just yet as the new system does not become effective until November 12 we think. What we did find was that if you use passport number for your login and you have a passport with letters before the numbers (eg. Irish passport has two letters before the number) you have to now include them. Hope this helps.
