Is there a group in the Quesada/Torrevieja/Orihuela Costa area to help people with Parkinson's?
TIA.

I really thought there would be a group somewhere in the area.
It's quite frustrating that there isn't.
Doctors are ok for clinical details but you can't beat fellow sufferers for the real life problems that people face.

I was wondering if you had Contacted AGE CONCERN in La Siesta. They may know of other people who have Parkinson's. A lot of people visit the Centre for Tea and Biscuits and a bit of Company.

Have you tried Face Book?

Having met a good number of family carers & people with care needs I have just started a group to share info, knowledge and to just network.

https://www.facebook.com/groups/1901057133450796/

There must be a group of some description? I recall reading that a Consultant gave a talk to at the Quiron Hospital recently.

I volunteer at Help at Home CB and will ask on Monday. There is an office in Quesada also.

Hope this helps
