Hi all, We have just moved to Quesada and love the area, My husband is 64 years old and newly diagnosed with Parkinson’s. We are looking for a support group to obtain information from, the nearest seems to be in Denia about a 2 hour drive from us! Does anyone know of a Parkinson group nearer .?!!

Some of our newer members (as Leo is) may need a little help navigating the forum and working out how to access their private messages:

Here's some help topics:

No, of course not.

We don't always look at when a member joined the forum but it can be indication of why they don't answer messages as quickly as others and sometimes they don't notice our help topics on the home page.

So Leo,Micaro and Miketaff.
That's four of us in pretty much the same area.
Could we arrange a get together?
I would like to open up the invitation to anyone suffering from Alzheimer's or similar conditions.
Lethargy can be a big part of these illnesses.
Let's do something positive!!!

Hi, yes there is an informal group that met at O´Brians Bar on El Raso every Friday afternoon at 2pm.
They are called the Movers and Shakers and people with various neurological diseases meet for a drink and lunch etc. Please check out Help Vega Baja FB people as it comes under their umbrella.
