Sunnydale - you make some very rude criticisms without backing them up.

First of all, the processes I described were precisely what I did and were all based on taking professional advice. The 'wait' times were all advised by the relevant officials.

Secondly, if you disagree with what I wrote, why don't you be constructive and enlighten me and everyone else by detailing the processes you undertook, assuming you have done so whilst living out here and, especially, during the past year or thereabouts.

Thank you for your support Marcliff. It would have been good to prearrange everything but we had already moved out here. I had the temporary SIP from the outset but awaited moving into our permanent home before kicking everything else off rather than having to do lots of 'change of address' notifications. I had read what you say about driving licences but had also been told that with Resedencia I had to exchange it within 6 months. Hence what I wrote. In any event, I will be changing it.

Now, look forward to some evidence-based enlightenment from Sunnydale.

Hi Roy

Thanks for the original post, I followed your advise on step 1,2 and 3 to get our S1 and residencia which we got yesterday and made an appointment as advised in step 4 with the INSS for next May. This morning when passing Rojales too the market on the off chance called in the Town Hall and spoke to the Lady under the stairs just to make sure I had everything I needed and she said she could do my permanent SIP there which she did and it only took five minutes but need to call back in three/four weeks for red card.

Thanks again
Phil
