Hi does anyone know of a Lyme´s Disease doctor/Specialist in Costa Blanca?
Lyme´s Disease is a Tick bite from a Tick that has fed off Deers.

Any doctor should be able to treat this and it needs urgent treatment, usualy amoxycillin if you are not allergic get straight down the chemist and get the 750 mg caps. left untreated you can have problems.

I read Matt Dawson had this and nearly died as a result..so as Scoobydoo says get treatment asap.

Yes unfortunatley i was bit in the uk 2014 just before i moved to spain, started with some horrible symptoms a couple of years ago and saw docs at Quiron for 1 year, only after seeing a private consultant this spring did he do a blood test when this detected, i have been on Doxcycline for nearly 3 months but the Specialist i am seeing does not have listed that he is a lymes specialist so i wanted to ask the question on the chance anyone new if their was a doc they have heard about.
I don´t like to question the ´Specialist but i am fully aware that this is a serious problem, it has been mentioned that it is MS but Lyme´s minics many other diseases so is esilty mis diagnosed. i appreciate your comments.

Its unfortunate that the only specialists are in Madrid and Barcelona but if he is not a Specialist, then having researched for over 4months since i was disgnosed it will me my opinion i shall be putting forward lol wish me luck..... may end up going back to the Uk!

Didn't find the bit about ticks feeding off Deers that caused ticks to carry Lyme's disease, Uncle Google never mentioned that bit anywhere.

sorry i seem to have 2 posts on this... ( Tired of Lyme ) is a good one to explain. maybe if you love dogs you should be aware of this too! When i lived in the UK it was near a wooded area where deers lived and thats where i got bit!
