Just for future reference. Can anyone recommend a private GP who will make house calls in the Quesada area?

I think you will find doctors dont do house calls in Spain. You have to gt to them

You might find if you have Private Medical Cover they would visit. My husband put his back out and couldn't move and as we werent Resident then and were covered by Travel Insurance, I was told to contact Clinico Central in Torrevieja and they sent a Doctor who gave him an Injection in his back. Worked wonders. Our UK Doctor told us he didn't give them.

Dr Ballester by the arches may do them, of course you have to pay. Believe me, National health docs won't come out.

NHS Doctors and Nurses do make house calls. It does help if you can speak some Spanish.

Do any of the Doctors at Lo Marabu make House Calls in an emergency. Say the patient has a suspected slipped disc or lumbago and cannot move but would require really strong pain killers.

No. Dr Ballester doesn’t make house calls. We usually use him if we need anything but I did ask and he doesn’t come out.

Thank you but I’m looking for a private Doctor as we’re not in Spanish NHS.

It might be worth you visiting Clinico Central in Torrevieja to inquire whether they do home visits. It's a few years since we used them but they have a good website and speak English . They are by the Fountain in Torrevieja. We used them regularly before becoming Resident. They use the Private Hospital for any tests that they can't do themselves.

If you have Private Health Insurance why don't you find out what to do in an Emergency and needed a home visit.
