Posted: Tue Oct 23, 2018 11:54 amTake care to note the strength of any over the counter medicines you buy from a Spanish pharmacy. My wife popped a couple of ibuprofen for back pain last week, not even thinking they were any different to the ones we buy in the UK at 200mg each. Unfortunately, the Spanish version were 600mg each, so she'd taken 1200mg instead of 400mg. They made her sick - just as well really, as they could have caused stomach bleeding.
