Hi, i recently had to start using hearing aids and as we hope to move permanently to Spain (Quesada) this summer (brexit permitting!) i was wondering what the batteries cost in Spain. Currently in the UK i get them free from the NHS.

Thank you. Paul.

That would depend on the type of battery I should think. Look at Amazon.es and check on the prices there. Some are 15 euro for 10 whilst others are around 15 euro for 80 batteries.
You can't get hearing aid batteries on prescription in Spain.

We get them in the opticians in Carrefour, we found they are the cheapest and last as long as others. When we are anywhere near a Costco we buy them there as they are definitely the cheapest, My friend got his hearing aid in a shop in Torrevieja town centre and is supplied with free batteries so next time you want a hearing aid you know where to go.

I purchase my husband's hearing aid batteries from Chantel Opticians in Torrevieja, they are not expensive. Initially he was given quite a lot of months free for the hearing aids, sorry not sure how long but it was a long time with free batteries.
